What's up guys. Recently, I've been loving salads. I know, gross, but I've loved how quick they are to make especially during school. I tried out a few recipes that require little prep time but are still so good and really filling. Here's one of my favorite salad recipes at the moment. It fit perfectly with my meal prep and takes less than 20 minutes to make. Can't wait for you guys to try it:
1. 8 oz of grilled chicken breast (sub tofu if you would like)
2.Mandarin Oranges (Not in syrup)
3. Broccoli Florets
4. Shaved Carrots
6. Iceberg lettuce
7. Asian Sesame Simmer sauce or vinaigrette
For this recipe I used about 1/2 cup of everything and then about 2 cups of Iceberg lettuce. Feel free to mix up your greens!
After chopping up all the veggies I stirred the grilled chicken breast with the simmer sauce. (You can skip this step if you prefer to just add a vinaigrette at the end. )
Now you can put it all in a bowl and mix thoroughly! Super fast and super good, let me know if you guys try it out!
I tried to take a cute pic of me enjoying the salad but that didn't work out, So enjoy this picture of me stuffing my face :)
