Healthy 2 ingredient Pancakes!

 Ingredients:

1. 1 ripe banana

2. 1 cup egg whites

Optional Healthy Mix-ins:

-1-2 Tbsps Crushed Almonds, Walnuts, etc.
-1 Tbsp of coconut milk
-1 Tbsp Dark Chocolate chips
-1/2 cup Granola
-1 Tbsp honey

 Crush up the banana well with a fork, and whisk in the the egg whites until fairly smooth. Coat your skillet with olive oil and add the mix ins. Flip when the bottom is golden brown.

Do they really taste like pancakes?
Â
Yes! If you are super sensitive to the taste of banana it may not be for you but they were still so yummy when I tried them. I used a few crushed up walnuts and a sugar free syrup and loved it. A really good alternative if you are trying to incorporate more healthy meals and protein into your diet. I was able to make a few extra and eat them the next day as well.

Flip Tips
Â
-Make your cakes fairly thin. I found that it was much easier to cook when i poured a small amount of the batter onto the pan and it fluffed up without a lot.

-Also, make sure to coat your pan generously. They can get burnt pretty easily if you don't coat the pan well enough and take too long to flip.
Â
-After about 2 minutes, use a fork to check that the bottom is golden. The outsides of the cake should be pretty easy to lift up when it's ready.
